Follow these steps
- Choose Target to parents and select the child you want.
- Enable I already know one parent and select your known species.
- Optionally enable Only pairs with both parents in my Owned list after adding your collection in path mode.
- Calculate and inspect the matching partner. If there are no direct pairs, disable a filter or try a multi-generation path.
Direct partner versus a breeding chain
A direct pair requires the known parent to appear in the final breeding step. A chain can instead use that species in an earlier generation. No direct partner in this snapshot does not prove that no chain exists.
The Owned filter checks both species
The checkbox only keeps pairs when both parent species are in your saved list. An empty Owned list produces no matching pairs. It does not check whether you have the necessary individual genders, traits or breeding conditions.
Sharing the question
Copy plan link includes the target and the known parent when that filter is enabled. Recipients can open the same direct-parent question. Your full Owned list stays private and is not encoded in the URL.
